2020 Back To How It Was!
Here we are at the turn of another decade. It only seems like yesterday that we were terrified of the New Millennium Bug ...
MadamSplash is a Technological Marketer, i.e. a networking engineer thus remains embroiled in the technology workings of the internet.
Have you noticed the unusual number of upgrades around Wi-fi recently? Yes, they know about the widespread issues and are dealing with it. Sim Card hacking is back .. it never really went away.
It took 5 obsessive years to work out who, how and what has been hurting the Internet and hacking its users and continue to do this. Wi-fi is easy to smash into, particularly if the Telecoms make it easy to travel through non-password hosting sites. Wi-fi has always been the culprit. Wi-fi weaknesses permitted the Cookie Hackers to come into our static devices and follow us through our Security
You can read more about the Cookies Hackers at the Facebook Page of @splashmarketingtechnology.
Aaghh Wi-fi!
We should get cracking on fixing up the NBN and Mobile Broadband so we can secure ourselves against these threats. Whoever owns our phone and internet technology can access our intellectual property - do we really want international telecoms owning us?
Admit ... have made some quite serious statements in the Splash Facebook Blog about international dealings with countries that are still largely controlled by mafias. My statements have landed on some as racial comments - well that's balderdash, but the truth is the truth. Those countries have issues with them too.
Australian Primary Servers
Australia needs at least two Primary Servers on our shores THAT DO NOT SHARE DATA with overseas eyes. We need to get our Com.Au Domains back and managed in Australia - the last heard they were in Dublin.
We should also seriously consider a new Search Engine, one that is filtered and secured, Dark Web and Porn free. We have been mostly entrapped by our Browsers through Cookie Hackers (WIB Web In Browser Hacks), I have heard that Chrome has set a date to disappear, sniff don't go!.
Pondering the Fat Cats and why they are so wealthy (apart from the alarming amount of corruption amongst them) - that's simple really. There are currently 4.5 Billion Users Online - All it takes is $1 from each of them ... over and over.
We gave all of our tech away to other countries, we were MORONS!
The Day of the Chinese Middleman is over
It's all over Rover ... the days of manufacturing in China and hoping to have some control is finished - unless you want to move to China, which is not a bad idea for young folk.
It's the end of the road for Splash however, we are sending all of our retail operations (of Chinese products) back to China. We will still purchase products for our own use and continue the websites, but our partners will now gain the Lion's Share of mark-up, which really has wheedled down to a Flea Share, no longer possible to compete against the Chinese online prices and machine
Competition is mostly in Hong Kong and Singapore. It has always been a slippery slope. We are not even entertaining switching to India, the same thing will occur.
Bite the Bullet ... Bring Back To Australia ..
Very strongly believe that we now have to bring back our technology and manufacturing back to Australia and bear the costs. This is the only way we will re-establish safety and quality in products and services again. Export is the way to go, many countries are as keen as we are to go back to the old safe ways.
Well that's it for this year ... have a good one!
